An unusual band

Quite a while ago I bought my father a Hamilton Selfwinding watch. When the gold tone started wearing off the band was removed but misplaced. This was 25-30 years ago I believe.The band is very unusual, I think. Here is the watch. Here is a close-up of the lugs.I've been searching for a band but I think it will be tough to turn one of these types up. Would anyone here know where to find one?........
