Magnetic Fields
This may be a stupid question but I know that some automatic watches have a soft iron casing to protect the movements from getting magnetized. Does Seiko have have protection as well? If not, how strong does a magnetic field have to be to affect the movement? How do I know if my watch is affected?The reason I bring this up is that I have a portable DVD player that I used when my power went out and not realizing that the screen locks closed using magnets, I left my Seiko BM on it for about for ab........
