The search is over, but i have a IWC Question .......
I just picked up a new pilots chrono that i had been lusting over since the make-over and sizing to 42mm. But my question is ..anybody know how long an IWC XL long croc strap is? The AD is going to order me a long to replace the regular size but they didnt know the size of the IWC XL's. I have searched the IWC web site and come up empty. I know Panerai XL's are 115mm/95mm. Any ideas guys???Here is a quick pic at the AD's before they packed it up to be shipped home.........
Gevril Question
I have a Gevril First Generation Automatic watch and was courious about a different bezel. As I searched I kept seeing the same models that have a disclaimer of "no serial number" So my question is if there were only 500 made then what is the deal? How can there be only 500 made and there are so many for sale without serial numbers. Seems that a caseback change is the only difference (meaning caseback without serial number) Or did I hear Tim Temple wrong when I bought it?........
