The Daytona Debacle
I would like to thank you guys for demystifying the whole Daytona thing. I coveted this watch since 1992 when I purchased my first omega. A non date Sub. At the time I had an opportunity to buy a used Daytona for $3500. I thought it was too much for a watch with no box/papers. A few years later, in mid 90s, SS Daytonas retailed for around $5K+ but they were hotter than today with a $4-5K premium over MSRP for a new one.
