Advice on a Seamaster 2542.80
I own this Omega Seamaster Professional (Quartz) model 2542.80 and I'm considering selling it, but my knowledge of the second hand watch market is next to nothing. The watch shows some wear but works perfect and hasn't ever let me down. Recently had the battery replaced. Its from 1998 if I remember correctly. My Defective Boulton from Bluedail, update.
I just received an email from Tim, at Bluedail saying that Bluedial was replacing the movement in the Boulton that I received from them. He told me that it appeared that the case had been opened and that effectively "voided" the warranty but they were going to do this anyway. I did open the case to check the battery and so, let this be a warning. I guess that simple thing should not be done. But. in their behalf, they are honoring their grey market warranty.
