As some of you who may have read my threads, you will recall I threatened to begin collecting omega watches. Being a neophyte at this I have some questions.I came across a watch on the web being offered by a seller in Canada who has a lot of used omegaes in inventory, some of them seem nice. I didn't like how this movement was running so I disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled with all the Moebius oils and greases, The amplitude was lower that I liked so I found a mainspring that was made for this movement that was slightly stronger and bought a new barrel and arbor and installed the new barrel assembly, I have two balance wheels, one with a older "blue" hairspring and one with a newer "silver" hairspring so I'm going to test both to see which one I like best.................
