Delved into the world of Panerai

Hi guys...I've just bought my first Panerai (well, placed the order...for delivery 3rd week of September) on a PAM 00297. I looked at the 1950's flyback PAM 00212, but it was a bit out of my budget, plus I've been eyeing up the 297 for a while.What are your opinions on this model, do you think I made a good choice? I'm new to luxury watches, and it's a bug I'm afraid might take me over :D. I'm already hovering around a couple of Grahams too.........

This is a beautiful watch, however the only blem I found, was trying to loop the band over, the band is hard to get into the loops of the watch.
