To often threads about dealers/sellers who rip off people get posted and the dealer/seller who lives up to the product gets ignored. Well I want to address the latter group, and in particular a dealer/seller.This past Saturday I found a watch in the For Sale Forum and sent the seller an e-mail at about 8 a.m. or so. I live in Boston and the seller lives in California3 hours behind so he must have been awakened by a stray rooster. Within an hour he replied and within an additional 30 minutes ........

New addition-Universal Polerouter Date!

My wife surprised me with an early birthday present today:I've wanted one of these since I first saw a picture of one a few years ago....what a cool, classic look!Another view:A shot of the cal. 69 movement:Looks clean and runs. However, when I put the watch on my timegrapher, it's clear she needs some TLC...the amplitude is weak and the beat error is bad:SO, as much as I want to wear this one, it's off to my watchmaker for service.....thanks for letting me share my newest pickup with the group........
