Extending jubiless bracelett
I'm a newbee here, newly focussing on omega watches. I recently bought a *minty* 1601 Datejust with a jubilee bracelett of 5-1/4 inches length, which, when mounted to the watch, would fit about a 7-inch writst. My wrist, however, measures 8-5/8 inches in circumference, meaning I need to extend it a lot.I'm not sure how this exactly is done, as the links in my bracelett have various widths. Gilbert Redial - A little disapointing...
Well, I can't really complain; the seller made it very clear what I was buying:The font was wrong, but the vendor hid nothing. His picture revealed exactly what I was buying, and that it was indeed a re-dial. It was my lack of knowledge and my responsibility. Regardless, the seller offered to have the dial redone for free, and I accepted. I am not thrilled with the results, but it is better than before, and the seller had no obligation to do this for me.
