Hi, This is what I posted on other forum:Hello,Recently I inherited small collection of wrist watches. There are 20+ (edit: realy there is 17 pieces C at first pile seemed bigger ) watches in collection and brands are Tissot, Favre Leuba, Vulcain, Juvenia. I was told that watches are aprox. form period 1970-1990 (edit: one Tissot I opened is from around 1965 acording to movement). small seconds and quartz
I can't quite put my finger on why, but I have nothing against quartz watches and I like a small seconds complication, but can't warm up to a quartz with small seconds (unless it's a chronograph). I guess in my mind a small seconds subdial is equated with classic design, while quartz isn't at all. Am I alone in this?........
