Hamilton Automatic Chronograph

When I went to the discount house to send my Erard off for adjustment today, I came home with yet another Hamilton. I don't favor automatic chronographs because of their necessary thickness and mechanical complexity - but I couldn't turn down this 38mm (I believe discontinued) one for about the cost of the Valjoux 7750 movement. Besides, I will probably never use the chronograph function, as I only use that when I am on my morning power-walks with my dog, when I always get sweaty and so need a b........
