White gold fill Gladstone
I recently acquired a WGF Gladstone and it appears to be in excellent condition. However, upon close inspection, the lugs (which as you know are part of the middle of the 3-piece case) have a yellowish appearance, but it doesn't look like brassing. I saw another Gladstone on ebay which Mark (oldlyme) was selling and it has the same appearance. I didn't think that the Gladstone had a two-tone case, but the other one even appeared to be YGF on the engraved part of the case. Mine only has the Y........

Here's what i'm talking aboutIt runs fine although loses about a minute a week.Now here's the thing.. I really like the watch BUT would it need a major service/repair to line up the hand and maybe bring the accuracy up a bit?It's a keeper for me no matter what but I'd like to do a couple of mods on it to really make it unique if the repair costs aren't going to put me in the poorhouse as it's got the DD 2020 module in it!Otherwise I'll just keep it as one of my work rotation.thanks Steve........
