The GMTIIC and the classic GMTII are not the same watch and were never intended to be.GMTII lovers criticize the GMTIIC because in their view, it is a "flashy" watch, and now with the recent "dropped watch" thread, there will be more points of criticism. But what if omega never intended the IIc to be the "go anywhere, do anything" sort of watch that its predecessor was? What if they wanted it to be an upscale businessman's watch.
