Anyone given any thought to the winder position (vertical vs. slant)

I've noticed that many in the box type winders hold the watch and an incline. Is this as good as vertical. Is there any data on that. It would seem to not be as good as vertical.........

Hamiton TL need Battery

I have this Hamilton Quartz that needs a battery. I have never seen a battery like this one. The battery is a (CR 23 P) and it has a strange configuration of both + and - on the bottom. (see pictures) The watchmaker I use has never seen anything like it. Is there a source for the battery or work around to make it work. 002.JPG003.JPG004.jpg........
