Amazing Cartier find by luck!
So, full disclosure, my wife is the amazing one who actually found this treasure purely by accident, but we're both equally pleased with it! As we were sorting through a lot of around 110 watches I came upon this one and immediately knew that it was the real deal. After checking all of the marks on it and doing a little research, it turns out we have a Must de Cartier, c. 1980s, mechanical, G.P. Vermeil. I picked up a garage sale special today, but not sure of its value:It's a used, lady's, Franck Muller Casablanca 8000 SC J, No. 002. Few signs of wear and still need to take it in to the jeweler for a new battery (and who knows what repairs ).I've found new Casablancas on the net going for $3-5K . Any ball-park ideas?
