I bought this watch back in early 1980 when gold was at an all time high($849) for scrap.The case and dial were in decent shape, it ran, and came with a black round pocket protector case.I didn't have the heart to break it apart, and send it along to its certain death According to the serial #, it was made in 1925, 12s, 17j, model #3, 345 grade.........
ESQ Quartz question
I am wearing my ESQ quartz, Swiss Made and I noticed that the second hand is skipping seconds. This is what is happening-it stops ticking and then sweeps for 5 seconds and then stops.It then proceeds to do teh same thing around the dial.Any ideas? If i need to replace the movement is it cost effective to change it over to a Miyota automatic?Thanks,Anthony........
