Blue Lume/Green Lume Comparison
Hey Guys,Sunday I did a lume comparison shot of the new White Gold Submariner and the 16613 Submariner. I saw something interesting - typically when I compare a Maxi Dial omega (like the Yacht-Master for example) to a non-Maxi Dial omega (like my 16613), the Maxi Dial omega will appear to have a brighter dial. Most agree this is becuase there's more surface area on the maxi-dial hands and markers on which to apply SuperLuminova, there for it has a brigher glow. However, the new White Gold Sub........

I am very close to purchasing this model but unsure which color. The bulk of my collection are black dials so I was thinking of going with the blue to mix things up a bit. What do you think? Is it too much blue? Would I get tired of it quickly? Should I stick with the traditonal black dial?orOr what about this idea. A little photoshop experiment. Get the blue dial and change the blue strap for the black strap. Your thoughts???........
