My friend's Hmt pilot came to meet it's twin. They had a great time. Hope you have a great time viewing this threadThe really interesting part is that even though both are exactly the same watches, mine has a red seconds hand. You won't find 2 hmt pilots with exactly the same 12 marker as it is hand painted, hence all have a slight variation. Few people find the way its written weird but I just find it really cool. Its really sad that presently the company is in real bad shape and I fear it migh........
What would you expect to pay for the cleaning...
...of a Timex made in 1972 or so? I know it will cost more than its value, but it was a Christmas present when I was 10 years old, and still looks very good considering it was worn by a 10 year old until the battery died. I had the battery replaced, and it ran, but lost several hours per day. I'm hoping it just got gunked up, causing the battery to have to work extra hard to push the hands around the face. Also, the new battery only lasted a few months before it died again, which, if logic means........
