Keeping Time VS Official Time Website
I was comparing two of my Omega's, my PO and my Pro with the official time website. I zero'd them with the website and then 24/48 hours later notice anywhere from 10-15 seconds slow in comparison with the website. I am going to keep them on the same setting to see how much more it will vary. Now both of my two watches are doing this and within 3-5 sec's of each other. Should I be using the website or should I use a quartz/digital watch for this? How much variance should I see?........
omega Jewels in First World War Trench Watch
I have an officers trench watch from 1916-18, most likely bought in Canada before going overseas. It has a case labelled on the inside "Fortune" "Gold Filled" One one of the wheels inside it has "omega Jewels" engraved on it. but there is no brand name that I can see on the movement or face. It is working and in fine condition. Did omega manufacture movements for resale? Is this a omega Movement?........
