GMT II 16710 and the new 3186 movement
Most of us know that omega slipped the new 3186 movement into the old GMT II model and used "stick" numerals versus "roman numerals" on the dial along with the "Wiggle test" that identifies the 3186 from the 3185. Hi all, I don't know how I start to collect American vintage watches, but even I'm a beginner, I got to love them.Last arrived is a small Art Deco Ladies Benrus of '20 years.My concern is that is missing the Benrus on dial and the marks on mechanism seems to be manually made. It is a kind of fake, or a very early Benrus watch? What is your opinion?Thanks.Similar models and a "Gloria" Benrus ad from 1925:........
