Case Restoration Question(s)

Last month I was able to get hold of one of the rarer Elgin models from the 1950s. It's one of the ones where the back is held on by 4 screws, but the shape, and especially the movement are not often seen - the 19j 676. This movement appears to have been the last of the 15/0 movements, and is a sister to the 21j 675 in the Lord Elgin Townsman I posted about a couple months back.In a year of watching, I've seen maybe 3 of them on Ebay.No pics of the movement, sorry. I took it apart in a fit of........

I love the geometric design of the watch face. However, with black hands on the face, it is difficult to read the time. I just can't get use to the antique brass looking metal on Heidi's pieces. This will be returned.
