Fake or missed sale of the century ?

I just watched an auction finish for a watch branded omega Oyster. The seller has avoided using the name omega anywhere in his sale but uses submariner. With a starting price of $175 it receives not one bid at all. So as a beginner the only reason I would have to avoid this is because no one else has bid on it, or just trust my gut feeling that something feels badly wrong. So my question is, if it is real omega why has no one bid on it, or if it is a fake why would it have a starting price of $1........
