I have just posted this in the General Forum, but it is regarding omega watches specifically, so here's the link to the article.(Sir Edmund Hillary was the first to successfully ascend/descend Mt Everest in 1953, and had a long association with omega over the years. I guess you could say he was one of the first 'brand ambassadors'). Sir Ed died in 2008 and his wife has now put up his omega watches for auction.........
