19 mm between the lugs

I just acquired a Sandoz Explorer homage. The distyance between the lugs is 19mm. I am having a difficult time locating a bracelet (Oyster style) that fits.My question is this-Can I have the distance between the lugs machined to 20mm? Or would it be easier to have the ends of the bracelet machined down?Is there a source for the bracelet?........
