First time posting (on any forum, ever), but I've thoroughly enjoyed the last several hours(!) reading various threads about Omega watches. Here's my happy problem: I have entered that stage of life where I want to, and can afford to consider some of life's finer things, but am completely new to quality timepieces. For dress-wear I currently own a simple, thin, smallish, gold-coloured Seiko from the 1980s that is nice enough, but NOTHING like (in looks, performance, build, size or cost) the mode........

Even after removing the extra link, I had to have two more links removed by a jeweler. Also, the enamel is already starting to peel. A little more care in the creation and this could've been a really nice watch.
