Hi Folks: The resident newbie has another basic question. I just acquired another PW a Hamilton 17Jewel 912. I went to a website much like this (see: Hamilton Pocket Watch Serial Numbers) and looked up my serial number. Accordingly its about a 1938 (or so) manufacture. But then I wondered about my other Hamilton which is a 21 Jewel 940 (SN: 941827). I was going to use the same listing of Serial Numbers but was not sure if the numbers given related to Hamiltons across ALL models or just specific ........
