omega watch from my grandfahter
I have an Omega watch that belonged to my grandfather (I believed he purchased in 1938 in Italy) .It is a gold large watch with roman numerals. There is a serial number on the movement (9024503) and there is another number on the plate between the movement and the backing gold plate (9835675), unfortunately I lost the winding crown and the perspex cover is scratched. I cant work out how to attach photo (manage attachments comes up with a security error).I would be grateful for any information a........
Repair on a Seamaster
Hi, about a month ago my 7 year old Seamaster started not autowinding. I took it to an authorized dealer (place where I bought) and they gave me an estimate of $840 for both necessary and optional repairs. Necessary repairs only around $450. Seven years ago I bought the watch $1800, a service chage for almost half the retail price. Is this normal?........
