Anyone seen the new Aqua Terra Annual Calendar?
Anyone seen this one in stores yet?Looks to be a new variant of the new Aqua Terra released at Basel '08 / '09, adding an annual calendar instead of the standard date calendar. I gotta say, I like it! No price info on the steel, two-toned or gold on a strap but there is also a limited edition of white gold on a white gold bracelet (see below).From pictures seems very nice, and at 43mm's I'd love the size. While I don't know the price of all of them, the LE 18k white gold is (gulp!) $32,000. ........
Longines Watch Back Removal
Hi, I have a 1970's (I think) Longines wrist watch in gold which has been back and forth to a local-ish repairer twice (each time costing a fortune) and I would now like to remove the back and see for myself what is going on - I have a suspicion that it is simply dirty since it runs fine for a day or so and then stops, starts, stops again etc etc - but I am no watchmaker so I'm just guessing and curious. I cannot locate a method of removing the back and cannot see any leverage slots for a remova........
