another minor chronograph
I am powerless to resist a vintage chronograph in good shape, particularly if it has an original or whimsical element to the design. Here's an Eska - brand name of S. Kocher, "ess-Ka" being the way you would pronounce the initials of the manufacturer in German. It's not a brand with a particularly distinguished reputation - an etablisseur (watch assembler) rather than a manufacture - but I always watch out for Eskas because there is often something quirky or weird (good-weird!) about their desig........

Hi, I've bought a watch from the USA and it's being sent to the UK (England to be exact). I've paid $32 postage and it'll be sent with USPS. I was reading some sites, and it said things about custom charges and things...?The watch itself cost $105 (77). I've read many thingsone thing says 99% of items pass through customs without a look at, other sites say a form is needed to be sent with the watch.Can anybody enlighten me on the subject? I don't want to end up paying more/losing the watch in c........
