Enamel, Hamilton or Breguet - A Dial Question . . .
Hi Everyone:I've been looking at Tom's posts and there seems to be a reoccurring theme - the black enamel dials seem to be a favorite of everyone here (or at least, most everyone). They generally appear to have a clean look and they add to the vintage look of the watch.It's interesting to think that the 18K gold applied numeral was a more expensive dial and it was far more commonly sold than the enamel dials were. This begs the question - if enamel dials were more common, would we then prefer ........

I wanted to ask something here...Does all of the watches of famous brands,like Omega,Longines, Patek, VC,Tag and others...are all of them made in Switzerland? In other words-are there factories of these brands outside Switzerland,for example,in China?I`m not speaking of parts,but as a whole product.Is there a chance a watch,e.g.Longines to be made outside Switzerland? I`m talking about genuine watches,not replicas.Thanks.........
