I must suffer from total purism...
My personal preference is to keep my watches with the original factory settings...I can think of one instance where I would definitely switch a strap of a watch and that is when a "factory-configured" gold case watch comes on a black leather strap then I will consider a brown strap but keeping similar attributes of the original, e.g leather type and style. But my friends, I must say that slapping a 30 dollar, nylon strap on a 10-15K dollar watch makes my stomach twitch! I will observe quietly........
