Most Wittnauer watches that I see advertised are listed as Longines-Wittnauer, is this fair or are the two brands so far apart in quality that it is not correct to use the Longines name at the same time. I see this a lot lately with Pulsar-Seiko or even Lorus-Seiko. I can remember Lorus being a real cheap brand watch being sold for next to nothing new, now all of a sudden it is like it has gained extra credibility because of Seiko. new steelfish movement sounds + questions of timing
So....my beautiful new white faced steelsfish makes on odd sound when the rotor spins. Its not a typical winding spin but instead it sounds like a few pronounced clicks. Is this normal?Also how do you check the accuracy of you watch? Do you just line it up with the atomic clock and check it again in 24hrs. After a few months wear should it be within cosc?
