IWC Mark 12 service advice sought

Hello allI'm a newbie here and would really appreciate yr advice.I own a IWC Mark 12 some 14 years old that I love but which is somewhat troublesome, i.e it keeps poor time occasionally stops ( and was like this even after service at IWC London centre). Its one of their notorious 'problem children' even with JLC movement, or because of that movement.Should I send it back to the factory in Switzerland for a service ?Does anyone have any experience of this watch and of factory servicing ?IWC do ........

My 9 year old daughter loves the watch! It is comfortable, cool and stylish. The watch is so that it does not look chunky and the clear pink jelly strap seems very durable.
