Help needed on tritium
Hi Friends,As some already know I have just acquired a omega Gmt Master II.The model was produced in 1996 (T series), before superluminova was used; in this case tritium was used. I expected it to still light up a bit, since I read somewhere that the half life of tritium is 12.3 years. However, there is absolutely no glow whatsover on the markers.Any idea as to why there is no more glow? Lume isn't really that important to me unless I'd be trapped somewhere in the dark of night, but it is comfor........
