It's a MIracle, My Ole Waltham has Come Back to Life ......A Theory as to Why ....
Some of you may remember this sweet Waltham , 15 jewels and it's large ! .....( and if anyone can tell me what era it was made in I would greatly appreciate it) ......I'm thinking late teens, early 20s ? ......Anyway, it was listed as being running, but when I got it .....it wouldn't .....I have been carrying it around in my purse ( in a plastic bag ....) and took it out to show a friend and while I was telling her that it didn't run, I was idly turning the crown ....egad ! the crown turned !........
My first chrono!
Finally bought my first automatic chrono. Found this little one in an antique shop today and couldn't resist. The movement is complete and functioning, just in need of cleaning. Buttons stick, but release with minimal pressure. Boy am I psyched on this!!! It has been posted in the Japanese & Asian Watch Forum.........
