This was my fathers Longines watch. My mother gave it to him when they got married about 50 years ago. It is one of 2 watches that I have that were his. I know that the crystal is not original and I don't think this is the bracelet that was on it originally. Can you help me to identify this watch and find an approximate value? What type of bracelet or band would it have most likely had originally? I would never be interested in selling this watch as the sentimental value would far outweigh........

I just recently purchased a Tissot stainless steel chronograph and I am also looking at picking up a dressier watch as well and I like the looks of the Jazzmaster, but what is viewmatic? Is that just the Hamilton name for automatic? Is is Swiss movement? Thanks.........
