Winding grandpa's Hamilton

So I inherited my grandfathers Hamilton automatic back in the 70's and am interested in wearing it now that I am mature enough to not destroy it. I don't know the model, but am guessing it is a 60's SEA-CAP (see picture). I had it restored at a reputable watchmaker maybe 10 years ago but it has sat in a drawer since then. I took it out this weekend and gave it a few shakes and it started right up, but there is one thing that has always bugged me: how to wind the thing from a dead start. Every........
