omega use in an underground mine...?

I was just wondering how a omega would go if used in an Underground mine, lets say a Coal Mine, with very fine dust particles and carbon floating around?Will the floating carbon slightly scratch the crystal?Any thoughts? Which omega model would be the most reliable for Miners use?........

I love this watch. The only blem I had was the band was to and had to go to Walmart to get it resized. I did not have the equipment to do that.
