Ok, last weekend took the little one to the mall. He loves to stroll around, look at the decorations & everything.. Of course that's fine - daddy likes to look in all the watch stores So I got a chance again to try on "my" Patek - the 5135R.. And of course since I was there I tried on the 5135G (nice, but IMO the R is nicer) and a few other models, like the 5130 & 5146, as well as some 3 hands, like the 5296 & 5127.. But most of my time was spent on the 5135.. I love it today as........
Invicta Grand Speedway problem...
I'm selling my Grand Speedway, and when I went to pack it up in the original box etc., I noticed the date was a day off. When I went to set the date, it wouldn't change, and while turning the crown, it felt as though something was stripped internally. I could tell it was trying to turn the date over, but wouldn't do it.Has anyone else had this happen? If so, is it a fairly cheap fix or should I just tell the buyer it's broke and throw the watch away? I refuse to sell damaged goods, so I was goin........
