Benrus Wristalarm #3 with video

Actually, this was the first Benrus wristalarm I won, but I had to send it off to the watch guy because the alarm stem and crown fell out.Just came back today. It has the DS 1D movement, but I'm not sure of the date of manufacture. I'm guessing late 50's, early 60's due to the style of the dial and case. What would you guess?Anyway, with the stem fixed, the movement timed and serviced, and crystal and case polished, it looks to be in great shape. I put a silver Speidel on it to give it a ret........

I have been a lurker for some time, wanting to learn as much as possible before exposing my ignorance. I would like to ask the members of the forum to suggest websites for both Seiko and Citizen that are easier to explore than the official sites for these watches. It is difficult to go to either website and get the technical details I am interested in without having to plow through pages of muck. Any ideas? I have enjoyed all the posts and thank you all for the education!........

Omega 176.0012, Really good!

Although this watch is very pretty, I could not tighten the band to my correct fit, so the watch flips around on the wrist. It is too top heavy, and that makes it uncomfortable.

Omega 176.0012, Really good!

I was looking for something different for the gym and exercising. I liked the look of the watch and the material. The only concern is that numbers are a little light to see at times.
