Need help bringing my first Hamilton geometric back to life.

I finally found a plain cushion cased Hamilton that I could afford. It of course comes with the requisit problems and questions. First the pictures so you can think as I go along.First: condition issues I can handle. The movement is only good for parts but I have a couple of others in better shape as replacements. Thanks for your patience.I know this is a Tag forum, but I'm looking for objective opinions on 2 watches: the Tag Link Calibre 16 automatic chronograph and the Corum Admiral's Cup Legend 42. Both watches have a similar prices (I'm not overly worried about price). Both have distinct "looks"...I do lean slightly towards the Corum due to it's "off the beaten path" style and not-mainstream popularit........
