Hamilton joined the Swiss operations in conjunction with their U.S. operations in 1969, correct? If this is true, why do some Hamiltons from the 1950s have "Swiss" written on the dial? Did Hamilton even use Swiss movements even when they were still an independent American company?Thanks for the clarification.........
Ski season is here... with Linde Werdelin?
It's cold out, really cold out. But with the cold comes winter activities and the ski season I've been waiting for since last April. I've noticed Linde Werdelin is making ski inspired watches as well as some actually functional ski equipment. (Not sure I'd leave the lodge with one of those on my wrist...) Though their watches are not necessarily what I'm presently interested in purchasing, I thought it would be interesting to here some more experienced collectors comment on the relatively young ........
