Omega Aqua Terra Ladies Automatic

Here's the latest on my SMP 2531.80 which has been running fast. The watchmaker at my AD said that there's some spring or something that coiled over or whatever and that was what was causing my watch to run erratic. He overhauled the watch and straightend out whatever the problem was and he also said the rate adjust levers tension was fine, nothing there to fix and that the watch is now keeping to +2 sec per day in all positions. He's keeping it a few more days and wearing it as well and then........

Ok so some of you guys have really fancy high end equipment for storing your watches, but what about the average collector who has just a normal safe. We have been considering purchasing a safe for our home for passports and other important documents and also to store some of my watches. A recent purchase that I made my Omega Constellation came on an original Omega strap, it is in great condidtion except for the musty smell, according to the previous owner this watch had been stored in his safe ........
