Is Seiko Discontinuing the 6R20 Movement ?
I read recently that the new Seiko Premiers no longer have the 6R20 movement, but instead use a new caliber 4R39 with a lower beat frequency (21600 vs. 28800 for the 6R20).Is this correct?Are there any other Seikos which use the 6R20 movement? Or does this mean that the 6R20 movement is now discontinued? I think that would be a crying shame. IMO, the 6R20 is the best value movement Seiko offers.
