March of the Pershings ! ! !
Hey guys !I just finished this 1918 Elgin Pershing today. This one is just out of this World! It's set inside a sterling silver semi-hermetic trench watch case that was manufactured by Philadelphia, nice a big 16mm lugs, the ORIGINAL sterling silver crown, restored hands, clean movement and date stamped 1918 original dial. The case is VERY THICK! I weighed the case without the movement and it tipped the scale at a whopping 17.6 grams! This is very heavy, a normal trench watch case that is nickel........
wenger chrono won't zero out
So i got a new wenger aerograph . i really like it. It is the brown dial and brown leather strap model.the chron was not at absolute zero so i pulled the crown and held both pushers. Then pushed the top pusher to move the long seconds hand. It will not line up perfectly with the 12 . Its a half second off. Is there a way to move it more?should i return it?........
