How Robust is the Valjoux 7750 Chronograh Movement?

The manual on my chronograph has a big caution not to hit the lower (reset) button while timing is in process. Reality being what it is, I have done this a couple of times. Each time, I have quickly recognized what happened, and have not tried to force the button in or push it repeatedly. Execellent duct. Easy to read underwater and at night. Convenience of solar cell charging overcomes the size of the watch body. Bezel is stiff and somewhat difficult to adjust with gloves on, but may loosen with use.
