This one had me puzzled. I only found it yesterday and the auction finished overnight my time. Even then it was over $200 with 15-20 bids. In the end there were 29 bids and it sold for $353.What do you do when puzzled? Ask Tom and/or Rene of course! Tom advised that it was a Franken; Brock case but not a Brock dial. I apologise I didn't raise it before the end of the auction and hope that you, Dear Readers all, kept a clear head and the credit card in the wallet?stales........
My first post and my first Hamilton, what should I get?
Hello all, I would like to purchase my first Hamilton wrist watch and am looking for advice on what I should consider. To be more specific I would like. something vintage, earlier then 1970 under $1200 If I could afford it I would go for a piping rock, white gold. Aaron Faber had a beautiful one I checked out but at $3200, it was just out of my range right now. I am also considering some Gruens and Elgins but that is another thread for another time. So what are your favorites? Thanks in advance.........
