I was reading in a few of the posts that if someone places aftermarket parts on their omega (Diamonds on the dial, diamonds on the bezel, etc.) that if the person sends it in to omega, that they will remove the aftermarket part and replace it with a omega one, and charge the consumer. A few questions:1: Is this true?2: If so, do you get the aftermarket parts back?3: How is this legal? It is your watch, you can do whatever you like to it. Service means service the watch, not redesign it and charg........
Value estimation of early 90's pre'Bond SMP 200m
I'm the original owner of this watch and was curious about value. I'll update with a pic soon. It's the pre Bond, smaller sized quartz (1438?), Seamaster Professional 200m, champagne/gold dial with 2 toned (gold/ss) bracelet and gold bezel. I've worn this watch seldomly throughout the years, and only as a dress watch. Couple of hours at dinner and then back in the box. Condition is as if you purchased it new and wore it steadily for a week. Any ideas of value? I see these on Ebay for $40........
