baby PloProf 166.0250 ...
i recently purchased a NOS (new old stock) baby PloProf 166.0250 on eBay. upon receiving the watch i noticed that the date wheel was silver not white (the dial being black with white markings). this caused me to do a little research and i found that whilst the watch i have has a 1002 calibre movement, others have a 1010 calibre movement instead. also, the bezel appears to be different, mine having silver number and others having luminous numbers, a la the vintage seamaster 300. so, i'm rathe........
Trigger Pulled Seiko SARB023!!!
Against my usual fiscally conservative judgement I pulled the trigger on my first Japanese Automatic. I've heard that if the watch said "Swiss Made" I'd be paying considerably more for it - so maybe I am still fiscally conservative???I've read some mags about Seiko and trust I'll be happy when the watch arrives.
