What does NOS mean?
The elderly owner of a small town jewelry store died and his 90 year old sister undertook to sell the remaining stock. I bought 2 never sold quartz Bulovas, one a 1980 model and the other a 1981 model. If I open them to see if the batteries have leaked, will they still be NOS? If I put new batteries in them to see if they will run will they still be NOS? I suspect that it doesn't make a lot of difference but I really don't need them in the rotation and would like to be able to say that they are ........
